About Freshzengirl
My name is Susan O’Connor and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have a Master’s in Counseling and am a National Certified Counselor as well. I started freshzengirl because in my private practice I have seen many freshmen girls from colleges and universities all over the country who are struggling with finding their place away from home, making close friends and connections at school and dealing with many issues that manifest into destructive behaviors. I have helped many girls gain back their confidence and self-esteem so I wanted to be able to reach out to as many girls as possible. Additionally, I wanted to not only give information and let you know there are so many others in a similar position, but give you a chance to connect with one another, support one another and build a community of your own filled with encouragement, kindness and motivation.
